Lisa WangPresidentAs a resident of Los Altos Hills for over 20 years, I became a member of the Los Altos Hills Club in 2024. Cameron Bilger, my friend and neighbor, inspired me to join the club. During my career, I worked in Product Management for various corporations in Southern California. I also studied Liberal Arts with a special interest in Literature as a Graduate Student at Stanford University before leaving to work on my Novel/Screenplay. Savoring a delicious cappuccino at a favorite café while reading a good novel is a hobby. Other interests include Travel, Fine Dining, Church, Dancing, Pilates, and Movies. The Los Altos Hills Club is such a welcoming and inspiring organization, and I look forward to working with members on the many interesting events the club hosts each year.

Carol GottliebTreasurer, Event ReservationsI joined the LAH Club about four years ago after retiring as controller from a small engineering company. By joining, I became reacquainted with friends with whom I had known through my involvement with PTA, LA Parent Preschool, the Horsemen’s Association and Town Committees and for the first time met many more delightful members. Currently, I am serving as Club Treasurer handling the money and reservations.

Lana EinschlagHospitalityMy duties:
I receive a spreadsheet of all reservations from the Treasure before each meeting. I make name tags for all attendees. I summarize attendance atthe event by checking off the list, and I give it to the Treasurer, who then pays the bill. After the event, I retrieve the name tags to be handed out at the next event. I joined the Los Altos Hills Club to meet other women with my interests. I made friends in the Hills and fully enjoy my membership. |
Karen EmerzianSocial, SunshineMy current Board position is committee chair of the Social and Sunshine committees. I joined LAHC in the 1990s. At the first Town picnic that Harry and I attended, Duffy Price reached out to me and suggested I join the LAH Community Relations committee. A committee member Barbara Lamparter invited me to join the Los Altos Hills Club. I'd never heard of this club. I went to the August garden luncheon at the incredible backyard of Barbara Mordo. Sitting at a table next to Twila Woods who was new to the club, Twila was so warm, outgoing and friendly I was convinced that this club was really an opportunity to enjoy friendship and acceptance.

Liz WilsonPublicityI have been a member of the historic Los Altos Hills Club since 1980’s. Greatly enjoy the camaraderie with the enthusiastic LAH women who believe in giving back to the community.
During my working career as the UCSF Director of Nuclear Medicine Technology, I enjoyed serving as editor of the Club’s Newsletter as well as serving on the Community Relations Committee and Editor of the Town’s Newsletter. After retiring, I served sixteen years as a Fire Commissioner for the Los Altos Hills County Fire District and participated in many community activities, including the founder of Hills 2000—Friends of Los Altos Hills, and the Los Altos & Los Altos Hills Newcomers Group. The LAH Club is a wonderful, inclusive organization where you get to know your neighbors. |
