Annual Update March 8th Meeting Fire Protection & Prevention
After last year's CZU fire and potential for evacuation, the members of the Los Altos Hills Club are most grateful for the opportunity to receive updates on fire protection and emergency preparedness. It has been an annual tradition to invite the Santa Clara Country Fire Chief and the Los Altos Hills County Fire District to participate in providing the most recent update and guidance for emergency preparedness and the Community Emergency Response Team (CEERT) program opportunities.
The Fire Department is in the process of acquiring new equipment to effectively fight fires. The Chief will provide an update on the Santa Clara Country Fire Departments efforts in Los Altos Hills and new technology utilized to detect fires. Additionally, the Chief will introduce the Acting Asst. Fire Chief, Suwanna Kerdkaew to the LAH club members. Don't miss this great meeting!
